Participation of an Officer of the Office in a meeting of the Committee on Human Rights and on Equal Opportunities for Men and Women

On February 22nd 2021, the Officer of the Office, Mrs. Despina Mertakka, participated in a meeting of the Committee on Human Rights and on Equal Opportunities for Men and Women, on the topic:
(a) The possibility of violation of the rights of European citizens and third-country nationals through the circular of the Department of Road Transport regarding the issuance of a driving license.
(b) The problems created by the operation of the Fundraising Authority in relation to the provisions set by law.
